Tourist in Buenos Aires

I reached Buenos Aires at 11:30AM local time. Most of my team had already left for sight seeing (a small island near Uruguay) early in the morning. I was all alone and I had the chance to explore the city all by myself.

I set out to check out the downtown Buenos Aires. I put on my tourist hat and strolled around the city for 6 hours - conversing with strangers in my broken spanish requesting them for directions and/or to click a picture for me.

Towards the evening I was so exhausted that I was itching to taste the local "cerveza" - Quilmes. Later I grabbed some food, I got back to the hotel by around 11:30pm and hit the bed for my 1st cricket game in Argentina.

Save time on Men's ethnic wear - http://www.fabindia.com/storesfrontdetails.asp?Indian_Stores=13:Mumbai
says not me, see reviews below (yes me a self-proclaimed FabIndia rep, in love with their kind of linens as well and planning to get back a suitcase full my trip - methinks aeropostale kind of jeans & men's supershort kurtas might look cool)

"All the products are very well displayed with markings of the various sizes, and this allows you to freely pick up whatever you need, without waiting for assistance."

"I find their colours fantastic and patterns and cuts really chic. When you look at something bought from here, the sheer class tells. Head upstairs for lovely linen. They have curtains, bed sheets, cushion covers, and bolster covers. I love their "Daris" the Indian version of carpets. Available in sizes that would suit your home; they have some astounding colours that will definitely add to your décor. "

"i visited the fab india clothes shop at inorbit mall during diwali. i was looking for cool stuff for myself. i was surprised at he crowd i found there. there were more men than women. with the churidar and kurtas both casual and formal for men becoming the in thing, the men there were more excited than the women and i really had to wait for long to get an empty trial room mostly occupied by men. of course it tempted my husband also to look into the mens section of kurtas and what i landed uppaying Rs3000/- for my husbands shopping and just 1200 for me.so happy that he didnt have to go to places looking for good shirts. good stuff for both and a little bit expensive but i think formal and casual under on roof . little expensive but covers the cost of travelling to 10 shops."

"Our concierge told us about this place and we almost didn't go b/c he also recommended that we visit the mall so that we could shop at Esprit. What did we look like to him, American tourists or something!
Anyway, FabIndia is awesome. Their prices are unbelieveable and the clothes are beautiful. This is definitely Indian clothes with a Western flair but you can find an endless supply of stoles (long scarves) and Kurtas of all lengths, colors and patterns. They also have clothes for men and children as well as bedding and table cloths. The store in Mumbai was huge. We visited another in Cochin which was much smaller so we were lucky to find the big one first. I got some very nice items for myself to help me blend in during my trip (as if I could)."
